Impreza production is moving to Subaru's manufacturing facilities in Gunma, Japan. It will no longer be at the U.S. factory in Lafayette, Indiana where the Crosstrek will continue to be built.

I think this a great move, cars produced in Japan seem to be held to a higher standard. What to do you guys think? Do you also see this as a positive?

I’m with you. Most Forester and Crosstrek owners feel the quality and assembly is likely to be a little bit better from the home factory and I would concur. It really sealed the deal for me. Our gen 6 Impreza RS will be made in the same homeland as my gen 2 WRX wagon which I bought brand new in November of ‘01 and still love- just went on a canyon run into the SoCa snow yesterday.
