Hey all, posting to introduce myself. I dont have an Impreza anymore (Used to have a 2019 base 5MT hatch) but I do have a '24 Crosstrek. Just joined because I am still quite interested to see what goes on with this generation Imp.

Welcome, this Forum thus far seems very quiet but I drop in from time to time and hope there is a little more activity as the Gen. 6 Impreza starts appearing on the lots and those of us who ordered them provide our impressions.
Love your new Crosstrek, the Crystal White color looks great! There was an identical one on the lot that I poked around in after I put my order in for the Impreza RS and was very impressed. I don’t live in the snow belt or ever go off-road but as the models are otherwise nearly identical we both did our research and like the characteristics and engineering enough to buy in. How are your impressions of the driving experience, comfort, fuel economy etc.?
So my last car was a 2021 Crosstrek 6MT and I think that from a driving perspective the biggest difference (apart from the automatic trans of course) can best be summed up as being much more refined than the last generation. Particularly in terms of road noise and seat comfort, it is not much short of night and day different, honestly. I also think the styling is better and more interesting, even in white. As far as fuel mileage I am quite impressed. I track my mileage manually using the Fuelly app. I've got 903 miles tracked so far (Though as I type this I have 1,603 miles on the car.) and my average is 34.0 MPG and my best has been 34.1 MPG. That said though, I do have a 70ish mile almost all freeway commute. Overall I think its a great car, apart from the fact the Premium doesn't have a leather steering wheel or shift knob and the all-weather package isn't included anymore and If you want it, it includes a mandatory sunroof, which I don't want. so no heated seats for me.

This can all be summed up by just saying that it's an excellent car and I'd recommend it or an Impreza to anyone looking for a car.
