RS ordered

I ordered my first new car since my ‘02 WRX wagon in ‘01! I decided on the Oasis Blue Pearl over the Pure Red based on new photos and reviews a couple of weeks ago. Love the Red but the Blue over black is pretty unique - something you’ll more likely see on an exotic: Porsche, Audi, Lamborghini - obviously this is just a compact hatch but a good color scheme brings with it a bit more presence. It is hard to discern the “Pearl” in many photos and videos but a couple on the Car and Driver site finally captured it and it looks pretty luscious
Particularly: #11-13

I’ve got VIP pricing so I loaded that puppy up since all options and accessories are at invoice as well:
Package 33; Popular Package 3; Door Scuff Protector; Cargo Net; All-Weather Floor Liners; Footwell Illumination Kit; Side Sill Plates; Fixed Crossbar Set; Thule Kayak Carrier and two Bike Carriers

Still no configurator on the Subaru site but you can go to carquotes.com to do so to get an idea on pricing.

Looks like it will come in at about $31,300, before TTL - unless I can get it a little below invoice when I sign the final papers. Not cheap but only a few thousand more - before inflation - than my WRX

They had a ‘24 Crosstrek Premium on the lot so was able to see the body style and sit in it. I’m obsessed with those taillights! Really roomy and comfortable seats - I’m 6’2” and 200 lbs - could go cross country front or rear.

Has a July delivery date but might come sooner.
Totally excited!

Hey @Tpolerex, any update on your order from the dealer?

Congrats on ordering your RS! Are you still on track for that July delivery?
No updates, I am following the dealership’s new, in-transit inventory keeping an eye out if it slips in even before they are aware. 2024 Impreza's are starting to show up there but not mine yet and no RS’s but I am seeing a couple on other local dealerships websites. I’m hoping for a sign in the next couple of weeks.
Very odd though that the ‘24’s are coming in and Subaru still hasn’t updated their U.S. website to even allow configuring an order for one. I’ve gone into Subaru Canada to even see a website with the 2024 Impreza there with vehicle information and ready to configure.
